Kick Off
by Donna King
Kick Off tells the remarkable story of Tyra Fraser, a schoolgirl who has moved from the sunny climes of Florida to live in a small town in England. As well as coping with the move, she has to deal with a new school, no friends and a little sister with major issues. Tyra is ecstatic when she has the opportunity to play in the school football team. The bad news is that the team hasn't won a match in years. Can Tyra turn their fortunes around?

Hannah, the Brownie Book Club Editor thinks this...

If, like me, you love your football, or any kind of sport you'll love the Unbeatables series of books. Kick Off was such a refreshing read and was filled with lots of fun. You could really identify with Tyra's character and I felt so sorry for her as she struggled to make friends with her school friends. And every one has a girl in their class like Alicia!
