International

As an organisation we are dedicated to promoting equality and diversity so helping young people gain a better understanding of other cultures and worldwide issues is really important to us.

We are part of the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS), which is the largest women’s organisation in the world. Guiding shares the same principles in all of the 145 countries where there are members despite wide differences in culture. Its extensive links to other organisations, such as the United Nations, lets us work directly to influence world youth policy and women’s rights.

This section provides exciting opportunities for girls and young women to travel abroad, the chance to make international friends from here in the UK, and fun and challenging activity ideas to take to your unit meetings.
