What advice would you give to Alice?

I went to a fireworks party and I was really scared of the fireworks. One of my friends was laughing at me but I don't know how to get over being scared of them.

Posted: 07/11/2008 Bex United Kingdom: Don't worry,if you are scared of fireworks you can still enjoy them without getting too close by watching them from your window, if your friend is really silly she will carry on so you'd better find out what she's scared of and tell her everyones scared of something, even if they dont like to admit it. Lots of other people are scared as well so, you are not the only one.

Posted: 07/11/2008 liv United Kingdom: well fire works were scary to me 1 time but i dont mind them now heres some tips to help you a bit more.
1. watch them form your room
2. stay with someone that is sceard to
3. dont listwen to them!
4.you could have a party yourself with people yopu know that are sceard of fire works.
ok they should help. You see its normal to be sceard so heres some smilies and a hug loads of smiles for you. hope it helps

Posted: 04/11/2008 Robyn United Kingdom: I remeber when i was scared of fireworks when i was little and when i kept on seeing them more i was less afraid. Another idea is if your scared of fireworks hold sparklers insted.
